You can generally use our online offering without disclosing your identity or providing personal data. In this case, we only collect general information about your visit to our online offering. However, for some services offered, we may need to collect personal data from you. We will only process this data for purposes related to the use of the online offering, specifically to provide the information you requested. When collecting personal data, only the data that is strictly necessary must be provided. Additional information may be requested but is voluntary. We will indicate whether the information is mandatory or voluntary. Further details are provided in the relevant section of this privacy policy.

No automated decision-making based on your personal data takes place in connection with the use of our online offering.

Despite regular checks, complete protection against all risks is not possible.

Your personal data will be transmitted over the Internet in encrypted form. We use TLS encryption (Transport Layer Security) for data transmission.

Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties

We use your personal data solely to provide the services you requested. If we engage external service providers as part of service delivery, their access to your data is also exclusively for the purpose of service delivery. We ensure compliance with data protection regulations through technical and organizational measures and also require our external service providers to adhere to these regulations.

Your personal data will only be shared if you have consented to the transfer of data, or if we are legally entitled or obligated to do so by legal provisions and/or court orders. This may include providing information for law enforcement, hazard prevention, or the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

If we or our service providers transfer your personal data to countries outside the European Union, we comply with the special requirements of Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR and also ensure that our service providers comply with these regulations. Therefore, we will only transfer your data to countries outside the European Union if the level of protection provided by the GDPR is ensured. This level of protection is primarily guaranteed by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by appropriate safeguards under Article 46 of the GDPR.

Legal Basis for Data Processing

If we obtain consent for the processing of your personal data, Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis for data processing.

If the processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract or a quasi-contractual relationship with you, Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR is the legal basis for data processing.

If we process your personal data to comply with a legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR is the legal basis for data processing.

Furthermore, Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR may serve as the legal basis if the processing of your personal data is necessary for the legitimate interests of our company or a third party, provided that your interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms do not require the protection of personal data.

In this privacy policy, we always indicate the legal basis on which we rely for processing your personal data.
